Cruising: Antigua

About the location

Antigua is home to one beach for every day of the year. At least that is what they say, I have not counted them all, and I doubt anyone else has. What this previously British Royal Navy stronghold does have is a storied history that involves natives being pushed out by Amazonians, being found and left alone by Christopher Columbus, and then Britain taking over the island, bringing thousands of slaves from Africa. It is a gorgeous Caribbean island with breathtaking views, lots of history, and great food.
