New York City Like a Local (Slim Version)

New York City (Manhattan + Brooklyn)

Solo, Family without kids, City, Cultural / Historical, Girls / Guys Trip, Romantic / Honeymoon, Weekend Getaway
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter
$, $$, $$$

This guide is a slimmed down version "New York City Like a Local," which is offered at $100. If you'd like the full guide, visit my profile. This guide offers fewer recommendations per section (6 vs 12).

You can experience New York City like a tourist or you can experience all the city has to offer like a local. Either way, you can't go wrong but I like to think that experiencing a city like a local gives you the true essence of a city.

I lived in New York City for 7 years and it's still my one of my favorite cities. Experiencing New York City like a local will change the way you view the city. Don't fall for the $7 street food outside the Plaza Hotel when you can get it for $4 in Hell's Kitchen. Don't buy a $6 slice of pizza when you can get it for ONE dollar. New York doesn't have to be crazy expensive. In fact, you can enjoy the city like a local, spending under $100 a day. Or you can live it up and spend at your heart's desire. Again, either way, you can't go wrong.

Whenever someone would visit me in New York, I would send them a lengthy PDF will all my favorite (local and touristy) things to do and now, thanks to Wild Bum, I can share that with you.

As I said, New York is my favorite city and I want you to experience it as I did, so you can see why New York is one of the best cities in the world. There's so much to offer, from cultural attractions to hidden gems and if you want to experience the city that never sleeps like a local, then I'd love to show you how.
