About the location

Yes, Scottsdale is known for its large resorts, endless dining options, world class golf courses, and excellent shopping.  But believe it or not, there is even more to explore!  Whether you just want to relax by the pool with your girlfriends, or have an action packed getaway with family, Scottsdale is the place!

Several trips to Scottsdale over the past five years have allowed me to explore the city and other parts of the Phoenix metro area.  Not only have I visited in all seasons, but I've also explored the area with girlfriends, with other couples, and with the entire family in tow.  No matter the trip you desire, Scottsdale can provide something everyone can enjoy!

Guide Summary

This guide has all aspects of your next vacation to Scottsdale covered!

I've stay at multiple hotels/resorts during my Scottsdale travels, and I have included all of my favorites.  Different size resorts and price points are considered.  There is something to meet everyone's needs!

The dining options in Scottsdale are endless.  I love trying new restaurants and this guide features some of my favorites! Both casual and fine dining recommendations are included, as well as healthy and more indulgent options :)

If you are looking to relax and unwind, I've included the best place to enjoy a spa day at my favorite resort.  Not staying at the resort? No worries! Scheduling a treatment at the spa will still allow you a full day to enjoy all spa amenities and the spa pool.  Fabulous!!!

If lounging isn't really your thing, a long list of other activities are also featured!  Enjoy some of the best urban hiking in the country, take the kids to one of the "Top 5 Zoos for kids", or explore a desert botanical garden.  The options are endless!

Lover of patios, most kinds of alcohol, and all forms of dips. I enjoy the outdoors; I just don't want to sleep there.
