My first ever solo trip was spent here within the gorgeous city of Adelaide, located in South Australia. Also known as the “City of Churches”, this city has it all from world-class wine regions, to beautiful beaches and great outbacks!
With so much to see, do, taste and explore, your journey at Adelaide will not disappoint. I only spent five days in Adelaide, each day completely jam packed with sights to seek, and I still ran out of time to see everything that I wanted to see! However, this gives me an excuse to come back again someday! ;)
The best thing about South Australia is that it is a relatively small state, and therefore all of the gorgeous places I’m about to introduce you to in this guide are only 30-90 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD (Central Business District). I hired a car during my time in Adelaide, only because it is easier for me and I just personally prefer to drive, than catch public transport. However, Adelaide’s public transport is pretty awesome and will get you just about anywhere!
World class food and wineries
Enjoy local grown produce and wine, and even get the opportunity to make your own wine!
See the famous “Remarkable Rock” and “Admirials Arch”
Not to mention, I’ll be sharing with you some other awesome natural attractions that you can visit! From beaches, to scenic gardens etc.
Whether you’re looking to travel solo, with your family or with your friends, I have ensured that this guide will be everything you’ll need to make the most of your South Australia trip! From beautiful coastlines, to scenic gardens and mountain tops, you’ll be left in awe with all that South Australia/ Adelaide has to offer.
I have included hotel and airbnb options for places within the Adelaide Central Business District, as well as a couple of cute places outside the Adelaide CBD. And for those interested in a little something else, I have included a couple of campervan options as well.
A shy 22year old who has caught the travel bug. Trying to travel in between my 9-5 grind!
