Napa was a glorious surprise to me and my husband! As wine novices, we didn't know if we would be over our head in wine country, but we quickly saw what all the hype is about. From the stunning scenery to the local food and of course, wine, Napa is the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend away.

Only being in Napa for a weekend meant we had to pack in the fun, but we were able to mix in our love of being outdoors by opting for a self-guided bike tour of local wineries. This guide will take you on a beautiful bike route with pitstops at local restaurants and epic wineries. Perfect for a couple's weekend, a ladies getaway, or even a larger group! 

My husband and I took this weekend getaway, it was our first time in Napa. This would be great for a couples trip, but also could easily be used with larger groups for a bachelorette weekend or celebration. Because we were only in Napa for a short time (I clocked it at 42 hours!) I thoroughly researched restaurants and activities to make sure our weekend was full of winners, with an easy schedule to follow!

My guide includes the hotel we stayed at, as well as a few Airbnbs we considered (I fully recommend Airbnb if you're with a group, there are stunning houses available!) I also included the bike rental location we used, the route for our winery tour and some favorite restaurants we went to or considered. Napa has excellent local food with award-winning chefs- you can try out a fancy restaurant to splurge at or stick to the local, smaller markets and delis as we did. Either way, a food lover will not be disappointed!
