Perfect for the traveler who loves versatility
The Urban Undercover Travel Wrap ($160) is the perfect gift for someone who appreciates luxurious, soft fabric and wants a special item that can be worn for just about anything. Used as a blanket on flights, then styled several different ways to hit the town, your travel-loving friend will absolutely adore this incredible addition to their travel wardrobe. Making it a staple for all of their adventures. Plus, Urban Undercover’s motto is: Take The Trip. Duh!
Hudson+Bleecker is a fave among the Wild Bum team. We particularly love the Bon Voyage Garment Bag ($165) which is a gorgeous bag to carry around town, but super versatile for travelers on the go, keeping your wardrobe changes wrinkle-free. It’s also one of their best sellers. Featuring luxe vegan leather, an 8” handle and cross-body strap, this is the only bag you need to travel in style.
Gifts for family adventurers
I absolutely love my lenses from Moment (from $99). They easily attach to my iPhone and I capture some pretty spectacular photos when I don’t feel like lugging an actual camera around. My favorite lens is the Wide Lens. The Fisheye is super fun (especially for families who love to camp!) and they even offer a starter kit. Don’t want to splurge on all the things – a gift card is also a great way to go. Note: their phone case is required to use their lenses.
We adore Mamoo Kids. Such a fun line for kids AND adults. And, the founder, Anna, is a doll and will customize any tote (prices vary) with whatever you would like! I mean, how cute is this? For little kids, big kids and any wanderluster.
How adorable is this book for the kid who wanderlusts? Lauren Ranalli’s book “Places We Have Never Been” ($15) is a children’s book inspiring curiosity for travel and exploring other cultures. What questions can you ask yourself about places you have never been to? Let’s go on an adventure together! Designed for young readers ages 3-7 years old.
Presents for the fashionista traveler
Absolutely go with the Tencel Travel Pant ($175) by Anywhere Apparel. Love love love these pants. They have some pretty fantastic features that make them a great choice for travel day to meetings and even dinner out. Throw them on with tennies or pair them with cute booties for the perfect put-together look. Plus, the founder is a gem.
Another female powerhouse and some of my all-time favorite pieces of jewelry/art are earrings by Jac and Violet (prices vary). I almost hate to mention this because I want them all to myself. LOL. They are so beautiful and crafted with love. Andrea’s earrings are made with clay, hand-cut and painted. They are so light and dainty. And, her designs are incredibly fun – you can throw on a simple white tee and jeans, add a pair of Jac and Violet earrings and you are set for the day into night. THE best.
Holiday gifts for the city tripper
I finally purchased my first Dagne Dover backpack (from $135) and immediately fell in love. They have just the right amount of pockets so all of my things stay organized. They come in multiple styles and sizes. They are super well-crafted. I’ve brought my bag on adventures trekking through Kenya, hiking in Joshua Tree as well as on city trips, making it super versatile. And, I’ve received tons of compliments.
PROVEN Skincare ($35 for individual products to $119 for the set) is a great product for dealing with all of the elements during a busy city adventure.
