About the location
It's easy to understand how Madison, Wisconsin was named one of the top small cities in the US by Nat Geo Travel.
I lived in Madison for 6 years, and I think it will always have a piece of my heart. There's nothing quite like the feeling of drinking a cold beer at the Memorial Union Terrace overlooking Lake Mendota.
Football is certainly a highlight of Madison, and die hard football fans will not be disappointed by the nations top college football town. However, Madison has activities for people of all ages and interests. From outstanding bars and restaurants to beautiful outdoor walks, runs, and bikes, it's hard to have a bad time.
With 2 lakes surrounding the city, Madison is an absolute dream in the summer and fall. My hope is that you leave Madison loving it as much as I do!
