About the location

Oh, Harbour Island. At only 3 1/2 miles long and 1/2 wide - this little island packs a punch! Whether you relax on a beach (with pink sand) or by the pool with a great book. Hop on a bicycle or golf buggy and go explore - this is an island that grows on you each day as you discover new hidden gems and meet its friendly locals!

Harbour Island is not nearly as busy as Nassau or neighbor, Eleuthera, but you will pay for it! The island is quite pricey. It's also very family-friendly, making it a great trip with kids - without kids, as we did, or even a girls/guys getaway.

Guide Highlights

The bikeability of the island.

Many hotels offer bicycles. Otherwise, you can rent bikes & explore the island's nooks and crannies! Not a biker - golf cart is just as fun!

The Food!

While the food is not cheap, it is so fresh & delicious!
